Strange statement since we were using heat not A/C as the outside temps were fairly cool (low 40’s). He said it was caused by a buildup of condensation. So if there was a fire the hotel would not be notified. Come to find out the sensor was not wired to the fire network. I had to get up and pull the fire sensor off the tall ceiling.
Since maintenance had gone home already, the clerk showed up with a small step ladder.
